McALESTER, Okla. (AP) _ More fights are being reported at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.

Prison spokeswoman Lee Mann says an officer was head-butted after taking a razor from an inmate in the prison's central kitchen yesterday and two more inmate fights broke out.

Mann says the officer who was attacked isn't seriously injured and the inmate is expected to be charged with assault. Meanwhile, guards broke up a fight between two inmates in an exercise yard and another fight between two cellmates.

The violence follows two stabbings during fights nearly two weeks ago. The first occurred March 24th when an inmate pulled a homemade knife and attacked another inmate while being taken to an exercise yard. The second was the next day another inmate was stabbed during a fight in the exercise yard.

Neither of the stabbed inmates were seriously injured.
