Authorities are urging drivers to slow down on a dangerous curve near Catoosa. A trucker is lucky to be alive after Monday night's crash, the third in 2 months where I-44 and Highway 66 meet. All three wrecks were big rigs.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say taking the curve faster than the posted 55 MPH can be treacherous, especially for trucks. They say it's the worst accident spot in all of Rogers County.

OHP trooper Eddie Weilert: "You have the US highway, an interstate and a state highway all merging together within a mile. People getting off that Will Rogers turnpike have been driving hundreds of miles going 70, 75 miles an hour. It's just hard for them to slow down I think."

Trooper Weilert says speed is the number one cause of wrecks on the curve. In addition to slowing down, he says motorists need to pay attention and drive defensively.
