The city of Tulsa planted a seed for future generations Thursday.

Tulsa Parks hosted a planting celebration in honor of Arbor Day, at the Arboretum in Woodward Park at 21st and Peoria. They planted 10 different species of trees that were donated by the Helmerich Foundation.
