The State of Oklahoma will receive less money this year from the federal tobacco settlement.
Oklahoma will receive more than $49-million this fiscal year from the 1998 settlement between 46 states and major tobacco companies. Last year the state got more than $65-million.
The money will go toward health care costs related to tobacco use and educational programs.
