There was some scary moments Tuesday afternoon for an 18-year-old driver on US Highway 169. She says someone shot out her window with a pellet, while she was driving down the highway.
The victim says the shooting happened on a stretch of US Highway 169 near 91st and Mingo.
News on 6 anchor Scott Thompson says that location isn't too far from where drivers have reported other shootings along the Creek Turnpike. The location was also just a half-mile away from the car dealership where Kristina Green's father Jon works.
After the pellet shattered her rear-driver's side window, Kristina kept her composure and drove her car to the dealership. Tulsa Police looked through her car. They recovered a pellet lying in the seat, and found a hole in her passenger-side door where the pellet tore through the fabric. They also found a very emotional father and daughter.
Kristina Green: "Oh yeah, oh yeah, I couldn't hardly speak, I mean my hands were trembling, ugh! And I finally regain my composure and the police come, and then it gets worse."
Jon Green: "It's just really scary, really scary. It just makes you so mad. But thank God she's alive and lets just find these people and lets finally get it taken care of."
Since the shooting happened on US Highway 169 instead of the Creek Turnpike, Tulsa Police - not Oklahoma Highway Patrol - are investigating the case.
