HARRAH, Okla. (AP) _ A retired farmer in Harrah and his wife are the latest Oklahomans to come away as winners in the Powerball lottery.
81-year-old Pete Tytenicz and his wife Mary matched all five numbers in the Saturday night drawing to win $800,000. They missed the Powerball and won $200,000, but because they paid an extra dollar for the power play their winnings were multiplied by four times.
The Tytenicz were not available for comment but Oklahoma Lottery spokeswoman Marcela Southerland says they plan to pay off their mortgage and invest the rest of the money.
