One dead, one wounded in Ottawa County shooting

MIAMI, Okla. (AP) _ Ottawa County authorities are asking the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for help in looking into an apparent attempted murder and suicide.

Sheriff Dennis King says a man is dead and a woman wounded in the shooting Monday afternoon just east of Miami.

The dead man is identified as Donald Jackson and the woman as Donice Torralba.

King says the two had been living together.
