CHELSEA, Okla. (AP) -- A Chelsea man has died after his car collided with a pickup truck and ran off the road in Rogers County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Brian Devore was trying to pass a Ford pickup truck Tuesday night in his 2004 Dodge Stratus when he clipped the truck and ran off state Highway 28. His car then ran through two fences before striking a tree.
The highway patrol says Devore was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, and a passenger with head injuries was treated and released.
Both of the pickup truck's occupants were wearing seat belts.
