OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- FBI agents have questioned police in the towns of Moffett and Roland in Sequoyah County, but the exact nature of the investigation was not clear.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol handled any pressing calls for the two departments Wednesday while agents conducted interviews.
"The town was notified by the office of the FBI on February 8 that they would be conducting interviews with our employees regarding matters of arrest procedures and police policies," the mayor's office in Moffett said in a prepared statement Friday. "The town complied 100 percent with any requested information that was discussed during the interview."
Cindy Smith, assistant police chief in Roland, said the FBI also visited her department. She said she doesn't know the nature of the investigation.
FBI spokesman Gary Johnson said he couldn't comment on the matter.
