A close call for a west Tulsa man when fire sweeps through his home overnight.

Firefighters arrived at the home at 4713 South 32nd West Avenue to find it engulfed in flames. Things got so bad; they had to back away from the house at one point.

There was one person inside when the fire started, he was alerted by an alarm and got out safely.

The home is a total loss. The cause is under investigation.
