Family and friend said goodbye to a Midwest City soldier killed in Iraq.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning for Sergeant Lance Chase. Chase was on his second tour of duty when was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq on January 23rd. The 32-year-old was a former Oklahoma County jailer.
Chase's father, Mike Chase says he's proud of the son he raised. "Lance was a good father and a good family man. Lance chose the army as a career 10 years ago when he left the Sheriff's Department. Lance was always known by his men to take care of is men. He believed in what he did. I want people to know that."
Sergeant Chase leaves behind a wife and two sons.
