We've just finished the warmest January on record in eastern Oklahoma. The unseasonable weather is certainly causing a lot of problems. But for some area businesses normally shut out by the winter cold, things are really heating up.

During winter they're usually scaling back. Now landscaping crews are working all the hours they can handle. Tyler Cook with Preaus Landscaping: “compared to last year, fighting the snow the cold weather a lot of moisture and this year business has been going on every day."

It's the same story for construction crews. The warm, dry weather has the widening of US highway 169 ahead of schedule.

And, if you're not at work, what better way to deal with a harsh winter day than hitting the links? Golfers at LaFortune Park in Tulsa say this is the best winter on the courses in years.
