Tulsa's economic development plan has given more recommendations to the Mayor and city council.

The International Economic Development Council was selected to work with the city council and other city staff to create a strategic plan that will specifically address challenges and opportunities in Tulsa.

Tulsa Mayor Bill LaFortune: â€œitâ€™s a validation of the things we're doing that are right, but itâ€™s also gives us something to go forward with on things we're not doing that we could do better."

So far, the mayor has implemented two recommendations from the economic development council; the streamlining of development permit services and actions to move forward the Tulsa Hills development.
