OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Three Hurricane Katrina evacuees staying in Norman are facing murder charges in a fatal shooting in Oklahoma City.

Twenty-five-year-old Kendrick Simpson, 20-year-old Jonathan Dalton, and 31-year-old Latango Robertson also are charged in Oklahoma County District Court with discharging a firearm with intent to kill.

Anthony Jones and Glen Palmer were killed when shots from an assault rifle were fired into their car in northwest Oklahoma City. A third passenger also was hit by gunfire, but survived.

The surviving victim told police he was with Jones and Palmer earlier in the evening and they were in an altercation with three men at Fritzi's Music Hall on the city's northwest side.

Police say they received an anonymous tip that the men involved in the shooting were hurricane evacuees from New Orleans who lived in the Garland Square Apartments in Norman.
