A Tulsa family wants to know if the Tulsa County jail contributed to an inmate's death.

Timothy Walker was found hanging in his prison cell, late last week. His family tells "The News on 6" they cannot believe he'd kill himself.

Past medical records show Walker was suicidal, with the mental capacity of an 8-year-old. According to his family, he was not receiving proper care in the jail.

Attorney Charles Kania: "He was on several psychotropic drugs and the family had in fact faxed a list of those prescription drugs to the sheriff's office and he was not given any of those medications at all."

Jail authorities say Walker passed a note to a deputy saying he was going to kill himself. Authorities did not reach Walker in time to save him.
