BERNICE, Okla. (AP) _ A Shawnee man is dead following a single-car crash Thursday morning in Delaware County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Jay Eugene Nichols was killed about 2:15 AM when the pickup truck he was driving ran off of State Highway 125 north of Bernice.

Troopers say the truck ran off the roadway, hit a guardrail and rolled twice.

Two passengers in the truck refused treatment at the scene.
