ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) -- An 18-year-old man is jailed in Anadarko on arson charges in connection with three small grass fires and a fire at a vacant house set on New Year's Day.

Police say Justin Wilkerson and a juvenile were picked up for questioning after witnesses provided descriptions of two possible arsonists. Wilkerson was arrested after the questioning on Monday while the juvenile boy was released.

Sergeant Dwaine Miller says Wilkerson has bragged about setting the fires.

Miller says the three grass fires each burned about an acre while the home is significantly damaged.
