KILDARE, Okla. (AP) _ One person was killed when a car apparently became stuck and started a fire near the Kay County town of Kildare.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the victim apparently ran off the road into a ditch with high grass and while trying to back out of the ditch became stuck.

Troopers say it appears the car ignited the grass and the driver was found burned inside the car.

Investigators are still trying to positively identify the victim.
