A man is behind bars Monday, suspected in a string of car burglaries.

Tulsa Police were called to the scene of an attempted burglary in progress a little bit after 5 AM Monday. While they were responding to that call, they spotted a vehicle matching the description. When they tried to stop the vehicle, the driver took off leading them on a short chase.

The driver missed a turn near 13th and Utica, hitting three parked cars.

The driver took off, but officers caught up with 22-year-old Kyle Stromme about a block away.

Witnesses say they saw him inside three vehicles and police say they found several items on the suspect that may have come from other car burglaries.
