New developments concerning a former Tulsa newspaper carrier who has confessed to killing two women on his route in Tulsa.
Both women were believed to have died of natural causes, but an autopsy on one, shows she was strangled. The second woman's body was cremated.
Paul Williford was arrested in October for assaulting another customer. He now tells a reporter with "The Oklahoman" newspaper that he picked up and killed a hitchhiker between Conway and Cabot in central Arkansas nearly 30 years ago.
He says he strangled her and dumped her body in a ravine. Tulsa Police say he hasn't confessed to them about a murder in Arkansas but only to the murders of two Tulsa women. Police say they are trying to verify his latest claim.
Williford remains in the Tulsa County jail and is scheduled for another court appearance on January 3rd.
