Some generous people, who help others, are in need of a little help themselves. The folks from "Meals on Wheels" take hot food and companionship to people who might otherwise go without.

Program directors say they're operating on a $30,000 deficit right now. They say that's partly because of the local economy and partly because of the impact of national disasters like Hurricane Katrina.

Dan Rabovsky with Meals on Wheels: "Most people have only a limited amount of disposable income, and if they give it to those good causes, then they can't give it to other good causes and that's kind of where we're at right now."
