MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- An indictment unsealed in Muskogee County District Court accuses a construction company owner and another man of conspiracy and witness intimidation.
The indictments allege that George Glover -- owner of Glover Construction -- and Farchione Allen Stout conspired to defraud the state by obstructing the multi-county grand jury.
Glover and Stout -- a rock scale operator at Youngman's Rock Quarry -- allegedly intimidated grand jury witness David Throckmorton by telling him he could no longer haul rock from any quarry Glover owned or operated because he told another company that Glover was being investigated.
The indictment alleges Glover and Stout were trying to get Throckmorton to not testify before the grand jury or to alter his testimony.
Glover has been under investigation for allegedly substituting substandard gravel from his quarry on a $5.2-million highway expansion project. He denies wrongdoing.
