Williams Energy says they'll give $250,000 to help low income Tulsans with heating bills this winter. They're giving the money to the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army will administer it to needy families through their Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
Jim Glover Chevrolet donated $15,000 to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program Wednesday as well. The money was used to buy gift cards. Those gift cards were then used to buy presents for 50 angels.
Bixby Honor Society students did the shopping. Jim Glover says they want to make sure no "angels" are forgotten this holiday season.
