OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ One man was killed Tuesday morning when a car skidded off Interstate 35 in north Oklahoma City.

The victim's name hasn't been released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the car ran off an overpass shortly after 6 AM and the man wasn't wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car as it rolled.

Lieutenant Pete Norwood says the accident happened just moments after a similar accident at the same location. The driver of the first car that crashed was wearing a seat belt and witnessed the second crash.

Roads across the western half of Oklahoma are slick as light rain and snow fell this morning.

The National Weather Service says snowfall amounts range from a trace in central Oklahoma to five inches reported at Cheyenne.

The snow is expected to end gradually across Oklahoma by Tuesday afternoon. Skies are to begin clearing and temperatures should reach above freezing in most areas by Wednesday.
