Operation 3D is in full effect this holiday season. It's an increased effort by local law enforcement to crack down on drunk and drugged drivers.

Tulsa Police say the time period between Thanksgiving and New Years Eve is one of the deadliest and most dangerous due to an increase in drunk driving. That's why agencies across the state are working overtime to increase patrols, even using unmarked cars.

Tulsa Police’s Craig Murray: "right now, 17 fewer fatalities than this time last year. Don't drink, wear your seatbelt and slow down."

Don't forget, the AAA Tipsy Tow program is available in Tulsa. It’s a free ride home for you and your vehicle if you've had too much to drink. They only tow your car within a 15 mile radius and only to your house.

If you need a tow, call AAA at 1-800-AAA-HELP.
