OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A man who was convicted of leading an identity theft ring is going to prison for seven years.
Jacob Wilfong was sentenced Tuesday after being convicted in September of conspiracy to defraud and aggravated identity theft.
Prosecutors say Wilfong and Michelle Fischer stole personal information about other people. Fischer has also been convicted and is serving a nearly 6-year prison term.
In a related case former Oklahoma City credit bureau employee Todd Willis was sentenced to 41 months in prison for giving Fischer a password for computer databases containing the personal information that was stolen.
