Former Midwest City school teacher pleads guilty to sex offense

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A former Midwest City elementary teacher pleads guilty to indecent or lewd acts with a child for touching his students' feet.

Kenneth Richard Freer was sentenced Monday to five years in prison and 25 years of probation.

Freer will be required to register as a sex offender.

Prosecutors say investigators gathered video surveillance of Freer touching, kissing and photographing his students' feet. Assistant District Attorney Gayland Gieger says he has no evidence that Freer touched any of his students' other body parts.

Freer pleaded guilty on 11 counts of lewd or indecent acts and two counts of possessing obscene material involving the participation of a minor.
