BIGHEART, Okla. (AP) -- A Kansas man is dead after crashing his car into a dump truck on State Highway 99 south of Lake Hulah in Osage County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Gregory Grier of Peru, Kansas, was killed when he lost control of his car on the snowy road and skidded into the path of the truck.

A passenger in Grier's car is hospitalized in Tulsa in good condition. The driver of the dump truck wasn't injured.
