OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- In a jailhouse interview with an Oklahoma City newspaper, a Tulsa man describes killing as -- quote -- "a thrill."
Paul Williford told The Oklahoman Monday in a telephone interview from the Tulsa County jail that he always wanted to kill someone.
The 64-year-old former contract carrier for the Tulsa World claims he committed two murders.
He is being held on charges of assault and battery with intent to kill, sexual battery, burglary and robbery. Those charges stem from an assault on a 75-year-old woman that was foiled when the woman's granddaughter arrived.
Meanwhile, Tulsa Police continue to investigate his claims that in September and October he murdered two women in their 70s.
Williford's next scheduled court appearance is January 3rd for arraignment before District Judge Tom Gillert in Tulsa County.
