Overnight fire damages a Sand Springs home

Fire spreads through a home overnight leaving a family out in the cold.<br/><br/>It happened in Sand Springs around 2 AM Tuesday. The tenant says her son woke her up complaining he could smell smoke.

Fire spreads through a home overnight leaving a family out in the cold.

It happened in Sand Springs around 2 AM Tuesday. The tenant says her son woke her up complaining he could smell smoke. It apparently was coming from a wall heater. They got out and called 911.

No one was hurt. A smoke detector in the home apparently didn't go off.
