WOLCO, Okla. (AP) -- A Pawhuska couple is dead after their car collided with a tractor-trailer rig in Osage County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 70-year-old Marion Barnes and his 65-year-old wife, Eleanor, were killed just before 8 Sunday night in the collision at the intersection of State Highway 11 and a county road.

Troopers say the driver of the rig was southbound on the county road and turned onto Highway 11 when the car driven by Marion Barnes crashed into the truck's trailer.

The driver of the rig was not injured.
