Tulsa Police have arrested a suspect in a late Tuesday morning triple shooting that left one woman dead, and two more people wounded. It all happened in the 3700 block of East Seminole Street.

News on 6 anchor Terry Hood says police arrested the suspect just feet away from the murder scene.

20-year-old Marcus Morgan was taken into custody late Tuesday afternoon. He was caught just outside this house, just down the street from where the shooting happened. Tulsa Police say they got a tip from a neighbor, saying they saw the suspect crawl into the house through the window.

Police staked out the area, and watched him leave the house and walk calmly down the street. It didn't take long for officers to take him into custody. Morgan is suspected of shooting two young women and a man as they sat in a pickup.

It all happened in broad daylight, with a handful of neighbors seeing and hearing it all. Witness Ladonna Wood: "I was sitting out on my porch and I hear like six or seven gun shots and I ran in the house, and back outside and a neighbor said someone's been shot and she saw it all from her back porch."

The young woman who died was 19-year-old Shawda Pierson. She was in town from Texas - just visiting family.

Tulsa Police say the shooter and the other female victim had been dating. She and the male victim are in the hospital.

Police are still searching for the murder weapon.
