Two people were injured when a trash truck overturned near US highway 75 and 36th Street North.

It happened Monday afternoon when the truck was trying to exit the highway.

A 57 year old and 41 year old man were taken to the hospital in fair condition.

The exit ramp was closed for several hours, while crews cleaned up the accident.
