EDMOND, Okla. (AP) -- The Reverend Bob Green of Broken Arrow was elected Tuesday to a second one-year term as president of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma.

The organization's two-day annual meeting began Monday.

The Reverend Jerry Falwell was to speak to the group but had to cancel his visit because of mechanical problems with his airplane. Falwell is the chancellor of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and helped form the Moral Majority Coalition.
