A Tulsa family has a new reason to smile.

Incite Ministries and a group of 9th graders from Tulsa's Metro Christian Academy teamed up to "make over" a single mother's apartment.

The team spent two days bringing in new furniture, decorations and clothes for Jockolann and her son Chris. Madeline Mims says her students went away with a lesson that couldn't be learned in the classroom.

Madeline Mims with Metro Christian Academy: "we just saw this as an opportunity to give a blessing and be a blessing for someone else."

This is Insight Ministries fourth surprise makeover, they hope to do one of them every month next year.
