A routine disturbance call has led to a counterfeit bust in Okmulgee County.
Henryetta Police were called to a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex. They found John Coley sitting in a car in the parking lot. Officers say they could smell marijuana, so they searched Coley and found $500 in fake bills.
Police say Coley had copied a bill that had the counterfeit pen mark. He even ripped and washed the bills to make them look worn.
Coley is in the Okmulgee County jail.
