OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma City police say an 18-month-old boy dies when a family member ran over the child with a trailer on the city's southwest side.

Lieutenant Nathan Pyle says Gabriel Orozco Junior's family was using the trailer to clear debris from their back yard when the family member mistakenly hit the boy Monday.

The child was pronounced dead at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Pyle said 26-year-old Gabriel Orozco likely backed over his son, then pulled forward and ran over him again before he noticed what had happened.

Next-door neighbor Patrick Sheffler says he heard the boy's father and uncle yelling and came out to see what was happening.

Sheffler says Orozco had the child in his arms and was running up and down the alley with blood on his face and his T-shirt.

Sheffler said the family had just moved into the home last week.
