WATONGA, Okla. (AP) -- A woman who was wounded when two men broke into her home near Watonga and began shooting remains hospitalized in serious condition Friday in Oklahoma City.
Lauren Kopf suffered several gunshot wounds in the shooting that killed another woman.
Blaine County Sheriff Rick Ainsworth says 23-year-old Amber Matthews of Kingfisher was killed when two men forced their way into Kopf's home in an apparent robbery attempt about 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
Ainsworth says two "drifters" were later arrested in nearby Kingfisher County. He identifies the suspects as Jessie Floyd Johns and Windell Adrian Grissem.
