Tribal leaders from across the country hit the pavement in downtown Tulsa Wednesday afternoon, in hopes of bringing awareness to Native American health issues

The wellness walk is part of the National Congress of American Indians' annual Convention and Trade Show.

The NCAI conference is going on all week at Tulsa's Convention Center.
