ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) -- Anadarko police have arrested four people and are searching for two others in connection with an assault on an Anadarko man who died.
Police Chief David Edwards says 53-year-old Donald Tartsah was assaulted Saturday night in Anadarko, treated at a hospital and released. Tartsah later returned and was airlifted to an Oklahoma City hospital, where he died.
The state Medical Examiner's office ruled that Tartsah died of blunt-force trauma to the abdomen and his death has been ruled a homicide.
Edwards declined to elaborate on how Tartsah was assaulted and the motivation for the attack.
Three juveniles were arrested Saturday night and 19-year-old Ashton Clayton was taken into custody.
He is being held in the Caddo County jail, while the other are in juvenile detention.
