PANAMA, Okla. (AP) _ A Spiro woman was killed in a traffic accident after a motorist failed to yield at a stop sign located at US 59 and State Highway 31 in Le Flore County.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials say Jennifer Hamby was dead at the scene shortly after 7 PM Thursday night.

Officials say a truck driven by Jason Flanary of Ozark, Arkansas failed to yield at a stop sign on State Highway 31 and was struck by Hamby's car.
