Man jailed following police chase

One man is behind bars after leading Tulsa Police on a short chase both on and off road early Thursday morning.

It's a story exclusive to the News On Six.

Officers say about 4:30AM, they first noticed a Jeep weaving along I-44 and near Highway 75.

They tried to pull the man over, the man then tried to drive off and elude police.

The suspect eventually crashed and then ran into some nearby woods to hide.

Police quickly located him.

Authorities used a Taser to get the suspect under control and take him into custody.

Officers say the man was under the influence of drugs.
