Oklahoma veterans who are still facing personal struggles, will soon have greater access to transitional living services.

A new 31 bed facility is being created by 12 & 12 Incorporated, a center for addiction treatment and recovery funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The new facility will be located on South Baltimore in Tulsa.

Once rennovated, the building will more than double the number of spaces in Oklahoma to help service men and women recover from addiction. It will give veterans the opportunity to reintergrate into society.

12 & 12 executive director Tom Bray: "Life skills, education, build up to be independent back into society being productive as well as happy."

Renovations on the 12 & 12 facility begin within the next two weeks and the program is expected to begin in March.
