OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State Treasurer Scott Meacham says time is running out for those entitled to tax rebates who have moved without leaving a forwarding address with the post office.
Meacham says those Oklahomans have until October 21st to notify the state of their new residences.
Meacham's office is preparing to mail 1.2-million checks to taxpayers between late November and mid-December.
The office will be distributing more than $91-million in surplus revenue. Officials haven't determined exact amounts but figure checks will be around $45 for individuals and $90 for married couples.
Governor Brad Henry proposed the rebates, which represent state revenue left over after the state's Rainy Day Fund was filled.
