BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) -- A January 24th trial date is set for a man charged in the beating death of a Bartlesville man.

Jarice Gillham is charged with first-degree murder in the May beating death of Jason Lee Veach. Gillham has pleaded innocent.

Police say they found Veach with a hole in his head above his left ear.

Gillham is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
