LOCUST GROVE, Okla. (AP) -- An Owasso man died after his motorcycle crosses the centerline of a Mayes County road and slams into an oncoming truck.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Barry Peterson was pronounced dead at the scene of Sunday's crash.
The patrol says Peterson was driving eastbound on U-S 412, just west of Locust Grove, when he lost control on a curve and crossed the centerline. He was hit by a 1993 Ford Ranger pickup driven by Justin Stout of Chouteau.
The OHP says Peterson was ejected from his bike and then run over by Stout's pickup.
