Tracking Tulsa's serial rapist. Tulsa Police detectives are trying to confirm whether a 2-year-old girl assaulted last weekend, is the eighth victim of the same rapist.
News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright says there are elements of the crime that are very similar to the others. This would be his youngest victim yet.
Tulsa Police gave the News on 6 a set of seven composites [Click here to see the composites]. They are not identical, but there are some similarities. All were done by victims after an assault except for one that was done by an adult who saw a peeping tom.
Citizens need to report anyone suspicious whether they resemble a sketch or not. Detectives don't want any more children taken out of their bed and terrorized. Tulsa Police Captain Tracie Crocker: "The little girl was crying, her mom found her with no clothes on, she was wet, cause it was raining that night, had grass all over her. The window was open and the front door and mom looked outside and saw the girl's clothes, diaper and pajamas outside."
While detectives and street officers are working hard on this case, the department does not currently have a task force assigned to it.
With manpower and money shortages, Tulsa Police say it will take the help of the citizens to stop this man who has been attacking children for the better part of two years.
