Sand Springs Police are on the lookout for a piece of John Deere equipment that was stolen early Monday morning in Sand Springs.
Officers were called to River City Parks after a parks worker was attacked by two people, who cut him and may have knocked him unconscious. Police believe the suspects stole the six-wheeled John Deere utility vehicle, called a "gator."
A short time later, Sand Springs Police say several people were seen stealing aluminum from bleachers in a nearby softball complex. Two of the suspects ran when police arrived, but a woman was arrested.
Police aren't sure if the two incidents are connected.
