An investigation is underway into the sexual assault of a 2-year-old Tulsa girl.

Tulsa Police are trying to determine if it's connected to Tulsa's serial rapist. Investigators say someone crawled through an unlocked first floor window at a Tulsa apartment complex in the 400 block of South Mingo and took the girl outside.

The suspect assaulted the girl, then brought her back inside and walked out the front door.

Investigators believe the serial rapist is responsible for six assaults between February 2004 and May 2005. The attacker has assaulted girls ranging in age from 4 to 20 years old. In all but one case, there were other people at home when the attack happened.
