POTEAU, Okla. (AP) -- A former police officer in eastern Oklahoma admits to taking methamphetamine that was seized during a drug raid.
Former Arkoma officer Ralph Kelly Karnes pleaded guilty in LeFlore County District Court to a charge of embezzlement by an officer. Karnes admitted he kept the meth for his personal use.
Karnes was given a ten-year suspended sentence and fined more than $1,200.
